Acorns First Before Photo
Disney created a duo of mischievous chipmunks called Chip and Dale from a furniture designer named Thomas Chippendale. Despite their antics, they have proven that they are a formidable duo. We can see Chip out-of-focus in this snap as his eyes are centered into something else.
Perhaps, Chips was looking for acorns, chipmunks' beloved snacks. According to Trek Ohio, the animals gobble up those that fell from white oak and often store those from red oak because of their longevity. However, the creatures can be pretty destructive, too, especially when burrowing in lawns.
Mickey Mouse As The Biggest Supporter
Typically, you would see kids and even kids-at-heart donning an iconic Mickey Mouse ears headband or a Mickey Mouse shirt or sweater, just like this woman, who didn't seem to have any idea that a person was already taking a photo of her from the back. Of course, that is because of her attire's illusion that shows the character buried in her body.
We sincerely hope that the photographer had the guts to tell the poor lady about this sartorial mishap. Speaking about the character, Mickey Mouse first arrived in 1928 after Walt Disney remade Oswald the Lucky Rabbit due to its rights being appropriated.
A-Corn(y) Sight
As we've mentioned, Chip and Dale are inseparable friends who always stand by each other's side. However, they did have a little argument about winning over Clarice, which ended in cheeky competitions to gain her attention. In an episode titled "Two Chips and a Miss" in 1952, she first came to light where she was portrayed as a performer.
As for this image, it would seem that Chip and Dale have worked around their similar feelings for Clarice. Perhaps, they decided just to be friends with her and support her from afar—literally. The duo can be seen ogling their love interest, entertaining excited kids.
I'm Sleepy, Aurora
How would you feel if you met Princess Aurora from "Sleeping Beauty"? Many little girls would be delighted to have a picture with her, but that doesn't include this little child, who appears to be irritated that somebody disturbed her in the middle of her meal—even if that somebody is a protagonist of a Disney film.
The iconic tale spawned a spinoff franchise, "Maleficent," which starred Angelina Jolie as the titular character and Elle Fanning as Princess Aurora. Its sequel, "Mistress of Evil," hit big screens in 2019, but there's no word yet for the third movie.
A Crossover No One Needed
Disney has always been adamant about keeping its image spotless, so any violations by their employees are expected to be dealt with accordingly. Such was what happened when Disneyland Paris cast members who donned Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Chip, and a Snowman were filmed acting inappropriate and suggestively.
Worse, the clip went viral, forever tainting the company's child-friendly reputation. Execs claimed the brand has taken "appropriate actions," although they didn't disclose the details about it. Mascots are required to be in character during their shifts, meaning they must display the icons' mannerisms and personalities.
It's The Head's Fault
No trip to Disneyland is complete without a souvenir photo, right? So this pair decided to have theirs taken in front of the attraction called Animal Kingdom. They became celebrities overnight just because of this picture, but it's certainly not the shortcut to fame worth taking because of suggestive signage.
The guy's head covered the letters "I and M," and the remaining letter spelled quite an interesting word. Well, this hilarious fail prompted others to follow suit and upload their remembrance on their social media. So much for Disney's efforts to maintain its wholesome image!
Want To Attract Park Goers?
At this age, blossoming brands can instantly attract potential customers and engagement by working with influencers who have a massive reach. Disneyland, however, doesn't need social media superstars' help in terms of publicity because they are frequented by tons of guests daily.
Plus, many celebrities love spending time in the theme park, including Russian model Sveta Bilyalova, who visited Disneyland in 2016 and took this simple yet like-garnering snapshot. With six million followers on the app, it's safe to say that many of them must have wanted to drive to the location after seeing this picture.
Snow White and Mickey Mouse's Brush With Law
For the first time, Disney has allowed people above 14 to wear costumes during park hours in September 2020. However, there's a fine print: they aren't allowed to don headpiece costumes. This may take the fun out of dressing up as your favorite character, but it is probably for everyone's safety.
Guests can mistake other visitors for cast members, which was what happened in these images. This woman who arrived as Snow White and this person as Mickey Mouse were escorted out of the park because they could fool anyone that they were working at Disneyland.
Disneyland Management Is Calling
With tons of Disney park-goers, it's not surprising that employees miss a ton of violators, including these gorgeous ladies who were wearing arguably inappropriate attire. The company advises its guests to dress decently and avoid exposing too much skin that could distract other visitors.
However, several park goers pointed out that this rule is inconsistent. One mom who went to a Disney World with her child in 2021 said she was given a free sweater worth $50 after employees found her attire inappropriate for the Magic Kingdom ride. As per the rules, the company has the right to decline service or escort uncooperative guests.
Head-ing To The Exit
Have you ever seen a Disney park mascot removing its head costume? Yup, we don't think so. That's because the company has mandated its employees never to do this in the public's sight. Although we're not sure about the reason behind this, we're assuming how horrific it must be for kids to see a character's big body without a head.
While this favors the customers, it's a reminder to be a little kind to employees because the headpiece is heavy. According to Mental Floss, one fur attire can go for up to 47 pounds. In 2005 alone, there were reported 773 injuries stemming from this in the four Disney World parks.
Mickey's Utilidors Aren't For Everybody
Can you imagine wearing a heavy costume and needing to pee? More so, if you're tasked to be Mickey Mouse, it can be difficult for Disney park cast members to go about their ways without someone coming up to them for a photo. Luckily, Walt Disney thought about this problem early on.
So he had an underground tunnel system called utilidors built where employees could head to their destination without interruptions. Not many people know about this hidden secret, but the tunnels are said to be color-coded so that workers can get to the places in a jiffy.
You're Not In Jumanji, The Rock
Even celebrities couldn't resist the charm of the Happiest Place on Earth, including action star Dwayne Johnson, commonly known as The Rock. Of course, he wouldn't miss the opportunity of having fun in Splash Mountain, and he seemed to have enjoyed the experience so much that he let out an epic pose for the camera.
However, the man at the back didn't pack the same energy, and judging by his face; there's a big chance that he wouldn't be riding this ever again. His only consolation is that he was able to have a photo with The Rock, who starred in the adventure film "Jumanji."
Not Here To Make People Laugh
Theme parks and carnivals are places where friends and families can have fun and forget about their worries, even for a short while. However, this clown couldn't let go of his problems even when he rode the roller coaster. Judging by the other passengers' faces, the drop was steep enough to elicit shrieks and may make it impossible for them to strike a pose.
This impressive shot was reportedly the brainchild of Hamish Hamilton, but we wonder about the identity of the clown model. Hopefully, viewers who have coulrophobia, or fear of clowns, don't cringe at this sight or be triggered.
I Hope I'm Not Interrupting Anything
Asking for a person's hand in marriage is not just nerve-racking and requires enough time to plan. For this guy, he decided to pop the big question in the middle of a busy area in the Happiest Place on Earth. Of course, a nice photo would forever immortalize the moment, except that this was ruined by a tourist who walked in front of them at the perfect time.
It would seem that the photobomber didn't do it on purpose. When Nick Landis, the guy in blue, checked photos from the trip, he was surprised to see this man in a few shots. He ended up sharing this image on Reddit.
Questioning Life Choices
Do you have that random moment when you suddenly remember something you did a few years ago and regret it? This might be what happened to the man on the left as he accompanied his overly excited son to the park. Unfortunately, the patriarch was caught dazed—perhaps, he was going through a tough time at work?
According to Very Well Family, a father and son need to have one-on-one bonding now and then, even in the middle of a hectic schedule. This is a great way to let your child know that they are loved and more important than work.
Who's The Real Minnie Here?
These love birds had a date at the Happiest Place on Earth, but after taking this picture with Minnie Mouse, we're unsure how their relationship fared. Kidding aside, the lady on the left seemed to be game despite her shocked facial expression, while the guy appeared to be caught off guard.
More about this character, Minnie is actually a nickname for Minerva, first appearing in the comic strip called "The Gleam," according to WDWTravels. One of her trademark accessories is her bow, but she didn't wear one back in the day. Although not established in films and shows, she is actually the real-life wife of Mickey.
Don't Forget To Bring Soap
Through the years, guests have become creative in riding Splash Mountain. This group certainly amped up the challenge when they had a shower-themed pictorial on the ride. Kudos to the bunch because they even brought props like a loofah, shower caps, and a rubber duckie.
The icing on the cake is the guy in front's shaving cream and razor; we're just hoping he didn't hurt himself as the log dropped. Many rides don't allow specific things for safety purposes. Cameras, for one, aren't always permitted because parks have installed their own gadgets to capture the moment.
Just 'Shake It Off'
Want to see stars in the flesh? Just go to Disneyland, and there's a high chance that you'll bump into celebrities. If you're lucky enough, you might be on the same ride with Grammy winner Taylor Swift, known for her songs "Blank Space" and "Shake It Off," and Victoria's Secret Angel Lily Aldridge.
The ladies seemed to be having fun, but we're not sure if the guy in sunglasses looking serious felt the same. We're guessing he must be the celebrities' bodyguard because the crowd can get uncontrollable upon sight of the stars, so it was an excellent precaution to bring him too.
Fly Like A Bird
Roller coasters are one of the biggest hits in theme parks, but it is certainly not for the faint-hearted. Not only does a guest have to be extra brave in choosing this ride, but they also must be wary of a creature that may head their way: a seagull.
Just look at this duo, who was having when a bird flew their way. In a "Final Destination"-esque manner, the other visitor behind them was wearing a shirt with a falcon drawing, leaving us wondering if it was a premonition of some sort.
I Belong With Them
What is a family of ducks doing in a theme park? Perhaps fetching their long-lost relative, Donald Duck, who seemed delighted when he saw the creatures. Goofy and Pluto also appeared to be glad about the mini-reunion, probably imagining that they would be able to meet their kind.
Well, as for the canine friends, they often interact with dogs in the park. Although animals aren't allowed on the premises except for certain rides, service pets are permitted. There are also boarding services in several parks so that guests can check on their furry pals in between rides.
Wait, This Isn't The Happiest Place On Earth!
Going to theme parks is extra fun when with friends and family. Not to say that going alone is prohibited, but certain attractions are best experienced with a companion/s. Just look at this guy and how he seemed down even as his Splash Mountain log dropped.
This guest was probably acting out for the camera and had friends waiting for him after the ride. After all, Disney does have a Single Rider Service, which permits groups to ride individually in specific attractions. This reduces waiting time for solo riders.
Is That... Me?
Well, Disney has been stern about its policy on clothes just to maintain its family-friendly atmosphere. However, the company failed to ban sartorial pieces that could be offensive to its characters. Just look at Minnie Mouse, who couldn't believe what she saw.
Emblazoned on this guy's shirt is deadmau5, pronounced as "dead mouse," which pertains to the screen name of an electronic music Canadian producer Joel Thomas Zimmerman. Safe to say that Minnie is not a fan of his works like "When The Summer Dies" and "Sofi Needs a Ladder."
The Missus And The Friend
We don't know what to make of this image, but even with Mickey Mouse's mischiefs, he and Minnie would always reconcile, a sign of true love. She was probably confiding her relationship problems to Goofy, and after, the couple would survive this small bump in their journey.
Speaking of their relationship, Wayne Allwine, who voiced Mickey, and Russi Taylor, who lent her voice to Minnie, tied the knot in 1991. Interestingly, Walt Disney voiced both characters from 1929 to 1946 because he wasn't satisfied with the people initially cast for the parts.
This Isn't What I Expected
The girl in pink's face is probably a sign that she will not be back to any theme park soon. Almost, if not all, experience feeling their heart or stomach drop during loops and drops. But why are people still drawn to roller coasters? This may be because we are attracted to the enjoyment of fear, much like when we watch a scary movie.
According to The Conversation, research has shown riding a roller coaster triggers a faster heart rate and prompts the fight or flight response due to the release of glucose. Can this be the same sensation people have of bungee jumping or cliff diving?
Triton Finally Approves Of Ariel's Dream
In the Disney movie "The Little Mermaid," King Triton strictly prohibited Ariel from going near the water's surface and, more so, interacting with any human being. Of course, the princess did break the rule and sought the help of Ursula to trade her feet to her voice just to meet Eric.
However, this image proves that there may be a workaround to the fictional character's dilemma. This dad accompanied her daughter to Disneyland and proudly wore matching mermaid costumes with her daughter. As such, the Father of The Year award shall go to him for his dedication.
Date Night In Style
What's the best way to impress a lady on the first date? A nice picnic or a romantic dinner at a fancy restaurant, or a fun time at the theme park is also ideal. How about combining all these? This lad certainly nailed the brief when he took his girlfriend and even a waiter on Splash Mountain and even managed to strike an epic pose.
That or this could be a group of friends who thought of a genius way to make their time at the theme park memorable. It's hard to stay composed and prim as the raft drops, more so holding plates and the perfectly roasted chicken.
Seeing Double
Pluto and this good boy seemed to be wondering if they were long-lost twins and began sniffing each other. What's sure is that both animals have been helpful to their masters. Yes, Disney doesn't allow pets in the park, but service dogs are permitted because they are tasked with accompanying people with disabilities.
As for Pluto, he is one of the characters in Disney that is not anthropomorphic, although he is capable of facial expressions. Walt Disney was inspired to create the character after remembering the pooches on the farm he grew up in in Marceline, Missouri.
Yes, Boss, I Can't Quite Hear You
From the other riders' faces, we can tell that things were about to get real, but this guy on his phone seemed to be preoccupied. Perhaps it was his boss who called to ask him about his presentation or a tiny detail about work, but if he were at a theme park, there's a good chance that he was on leave or that it was his day-off.
Or perhaps the phone call was an emergency. Nonetheless, bringing out gadgets while riding a rollercoaster is hazardous. Take a look at the case of a woman who accidentally let go of her phone mid-air, and it ended up hitting another guest's face.
This Is Not Intense For Me
No man wants to see this deadly stare from women because this means serious business. When this hilarious image made the rounds in 2016, the frowning subject earned the moniker the Angry Splash Mountain Lady. Named Jordan Alexander, she was just poking fun at her husband, who was actually waiting for her after the ride.
According to Today, Steven accompanied his wife on other rides, but he had no energy left when they were about to go to Splash Mountain. To express her irritation at what happened, Jordan struck an epic angry pose and showed it to him, with the two of them burst out in laughter.
Will This Game Ruin Our Friendship?
The board game Monopoly is an excellent way to kill time, but it has gained a reputation for ruining friendships. This bunch was brave enough to play while on the Splash Mountain without fear that the pieces and the paper money would be soaked. The property trading classic is said to be derived from another one called "Landlord's Game" by Lizzie G. Magie.
According to Britannica, an engineer named Charles B. Darrow created the Monopoly game but later sold it to Parker Brothers in the 1930s. They marketed the game as something to entertain people in times of economic crisis, thanks to an unemployed creator.
Cringe Fest
One of the most demanding jobs in the world is being a parent. However, one of the funniest things about being one is being able to embarrass the little ones, just like what this couple did during their family day. Their daughters weren't fans of their PDA, with one unable to contain the scene and covering her eyes with her hands.
Suppose moms and dads need a break while out in Disney Resorts; the company offers a babysitting service for an extra cost. Then, there are baby centers too where mothers and fathers could change their little ones' diapers or feed them.
Is That A Yes, Gaston?
The dashing character on the right is Gaston, the antagonist in the hit animated Disney film "Beauty and the Beast," who had eyes for Belle. This said it is safe to say that he said "no" to this prankster who proposed to him with a giant diamond.
This guy is comedian Blaine Gibson, the man who went viral for being the hopeless romantic who popped the question to Disney princesses during his trip to the park. After buying a fake ring from Walmart, he went to Disney World and proposed to his favorite princesses, namely Ariel, Cinderella, and Rapunzel.
Talk About Newsworthy
Although we live in the digital age where literally anything is at the touch of our fingertips, many choose to stick with the classics. This family is one of them after bringing newspapers to Splash Mountain, probably because they forgot to read their morning paper at home.
Thankfully, newspapers are biodegradable just in case they get wet. According to Conserve Energy Future, as long as the pages aren't coated in plastic, they could easily break down, typically around two to 10 weeks, depending on the thickness of the sheet.
Pluto's Replacement Is Here
In the world of Disney, the most popular good boy is perhaps Mickey Mouse's loyal pet and companion Pluto, who, even though he couldn't talk, still manages to keep his master happy and feel loved. However, this image may anger him, seeing that his owner seemed to have found another adorable dog.
Pluto should think that this is a service dog, who probably accompanied his owner at the park but appeared to have found a connection with Disney's resident mascot. Remember, if an adorable creature with a vest comes up to you, it may mean that their master is in trouble.
Proposal Snap Of The Year
Popping the question to your special someone can be nerve-racking, so reaching out to friends can help ease the stress. With the many ideas found on Pinterest, it's hard to think outside the box and be different from the others. However, it doesn't always have to be grand to surprise a loved one.
This image is one of the best examples of proposals that need not cost an arm and a leg. After bringing his guy friends and his girlfriend to Splash Mountain, he surprised the lovely lady with a very romantic photo of them asking for her hand in marriage.
Beautiful Chaos
Here we have another set of friends who dared to be different by bringing games to the ride. More importantly, we wonder how the youngsters could keep a stoic face despite the speed and the steepness of the drop. Upon closer look, what's more impressive is how the Jenga blocks managed to stay stacked to a tower.
The blocks game Jenga was the brainchild of Leslie Scott and named after the Swahili term Kujenga, meaning "to build." Meanwhile, Connect Four, also based on Tic-Tac-Toe, was released by Milton Bradley Company in the 1970s.
The Beast's Best Behavior?
Even to this day, one of the most beloved movies from Disney is "Beauty and The Beast," which earned a live-action remake in 2017 that starred Emma Watson, Luke Evans, and Dan Stevens as Belle, Gaston, and The Beast, respectively. Naturally, park-goers wouldn't miss a souvenir shot with the main characters, just like these kids.
What the little boys didn't realize was that the Beast has a naughty side, the evidence of which is his hands covering the children's faces, which made this a hilarious snap. Let's just hope the kids didn't become afraid of him after seeing this picture.
It's Not Easy Being A Mermaid
For kids who grew up watching Disney's animated movie "The Little Mermaid," there probably came the point when they wanted to become Ariel. Well, this urge must have grown stronger for those who have been to Disneyland's "Submarine Voyage" attraction a few years after the park opened.
Interestingly, the attraction wasn't based on the mentioned picture but rather the exploration USS Nautilus that went to the North Pole in the late '50s. Though these ladies in costume looked like they were having fun, they had to undergo an audition, just like Susan Musfelt, who worked part-time swimming at the lagoon.
Who Needs To Find True Love In Disneyland?
Who doesn't feel happy seeing Mickey Mouse, right? After drama enveloped her in the reality show "The Bachelorette" in 2019, Hannah Brown was seen enjoying her time in Disneyland, California, so much so that she lept, perfectly caught on camera. Fans who saw her claimed she and her friends had a good time trying out rides.
These days, drama seems to be far from Brown because she is in a relationship with Adam Woolard. In January 2022, they took things up a notch when they introduced the new puppy that they named Wally, explaining that she had become a "dog mom."
When Handstand Or Yoga Is Not Relaxing At All
Not just in films, but Disney has always maintained its child-friendly reputation. As such, everything must be appropriate and safe for all ages, but this lady seemed to have forgotten about the company's vision. We're not entirely sure about what she's doing, but it appears she was going for a handstand.
It's not only dangerous for her to anchor her feet on the ledge, but it may also be inappropriate for other theme park goers, especially because kids can emulate her. She may also be doing yoga, although we're not sure why she chose to do this in the middle of the park—perhaps, it's for the 'Gram?
Queens Of Splash Mountain Or What?
One of the must-visits when going to Disneyland is the Splash Mountain ride, a log flume attraction that guarantees the guests will get wet, thanks to its 950,000 gallons of water. It is also not for the faint-hearted because of the multi-story drops, and what better way to commemorate the moment than by having your photo captured as the log drops.
Surely, it would be impossible to strike an Insta-worthy snap. However, this group of friends certainly debunked this belief as they were able to pose for the camera and even gave onlookers a little too much of their personality.
A Great View For Everyone Else
Again, Disney is pretty strict about its family-friendly image, which means it also has a dress code. While the company advises wearing comfy clothes, it is safe to say that it doesn't like overly revealing attire to avoid wardrobe malfunctions. These guests, however, donned outfits that provided little to the imagination.
What's more impressive, though, is the girl in the middle's ability to blow a bubble mid-air! We're seeing triplets here because their locks seemed to have had the same volume! These girls were probably friends who had a good laugh when they saw this snap.
Handle With Care
No trip is arguably complete without a ride in Splash Mountain at Disneyland. There has been a challenge, a contest of some sort, surrounding this attraction—that guests should strike epic poses as the log drops. It would seem impossible to take a decent shot in this ride, but there are hilarious ones, just like this image.
The guy in red may have felt scared to death and had to grab onto something without realizing it was his significant other's body and not the handlebars. This or he learned about the 2020 incident where one of the boats took on water, soaking its riders up to the waist.
Wrong Rapunzel, Flynn
Disney's animated 2010 movie "Tangled" revisits the Brothers Grim's tale, "Rapunzel." Featuring the voices of Mandy Moore and Zachary Levi, it wasn't surprising that the film garnered legions of fans across all ages. It also gave us LSS-worthy hits like "When Will My Life Begin" and "I See The Light."
Naturally, Disney capitalized on this popularity and had the mascots posing with guests in theme parks. However, the lady in a floral dress had a massive crush on Flynn Ryder, Rapunzel's love interest in the animated film, and she couldn't resist hugging him despite the princess' presence.
No Extra Clothes, No Problem
Another brunch who loved Splash Mountain, this group dared to be different by taking their clothes off as their log dropped. To be fair, going on this ride will leave guests soaked, so it's best to bring extra clothes. Perhaps this was the first time these pals tried the ride and realized late that they couldn't afford to get wet.
On the contrary, the lady in front seemed to be the most prepared as she even brought her raincoat! This is why it is always best to read about the attractions before going riding lest they want to spend on gift shop merchandise.
Not Unrequited Love Anymore
Disney has a habit of giving its magic touch to classic tales, including the 1904 play "Peter Pan." Those who have seen the 1953 animated movie probably got annoyed at Tinkerbell, Pixie Hollow's cute fairy, for her questionable acts to stop her good friend Peter Pan from falling for a child named Wendy.
However, not everyone realizes that Tinkerbell has a sad story of unrequited love for her best pal. Thankfully, just for this image, the Boy Who Would Not Grow Up acknowledged Tink's feelings for him. Plus, with the fairy's beauty, said to be modeled after iconic star Marilyn Monroe, he was bound to fall for her.
Too 'Modern Family'?
Especially during summer, it can be highly uncomfortable to head out and spend a long time under the sun. So when Ariel Winter, who is best known for playing Alex Dunphy in the sitcom "Modern Family" and Gretchen in "Phineas and Ferb," went to a Disney park, she decided to wear something comfortable and breezy.
Unfortunately, Winter chose a plunging romper that left too little to the imagination. She also didn't try to hide her identity, so it is safe to say that she didn't mind getting extra stares and fans asking for a selfie with her.
Andy's Here!
At some point, you may have seen one of the "Toy Story" movies, which feature famous characters like Woody, Jessie, and Buzz Lightyear. They are owned by a boy named Andy, and when the kid is away, they would come to life. When humans come around, they would drop on the floor, just like what we can see in the photo.
According to Pixar, the animation studio was tapped by Disney to create its feature-length film, so the team dug into their childhood memories to come up with the main characters. The first movie came out in 1996.
